It has been confirmed that there are four Royal Bengal Tigers in the Banke National Park in the mid- west region.
Chief Conservation Officer of the park, Barna Bahadur Thapa said there are four in the Banke National Park among 198 Royal Bengal tigers found in Nepal.
Although seven Royal Bengal Tigers were estimated in the park established in 2067 BS for protection of rare Royal Bengal Tigers, only four have been confirmed, said Assistant Conservation Officer Birendra Kandel. RSS
