Angelina Jolie’s double rings ignite rumours of secret wedding

02 October, Los Angels (PTI): Actress Angelina Jolie has sparked fresh wedding rumours with Brad Pitt after she was spotted wearing two rings on her left hand in Bondi Beach, Australia.

The gossip mills are abuzz about a secret Pitt-Jolie wedding after the photographs hit the net, reported Radar online.

Jolie’s new ring appears to be thicker and made of a lighter precious metal than the gold one that appeared on her finger in the spring.

Back in March, the 38-year-old mother of six was seen wearing a simple gold band in place of her massive USD 500,000 engagement ring when she visited the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda on a goodwill mission.

But Jolie shot down rumours of a wedding.

02 October, London (PTI) : Pop star Britney Spears new video has reportedly been banned from being shown during primetime in the UK because of its racy content.

The new single which is from Spears’ eighth studio album was found unsuitable for broadcast by British TV stations before 10pm because of some content which they found to be racy, reported Daily Mirror.

“While the video has gone down a storm online, it’s a bit too much to play on TV. Music stations like The Box and MTV have their hands tied,” a source said.

I won’t make my kid dance on stage: Britney Spears

Los Angeles, Oct 2 (PTI) Pop star Britney Spears will not be bringing her son Sean Preston on stage with her during her Las Vegas concerts.

The 31-year-old singer’s representative claimed that Spears was merely “joking” about the plans, reported TMZ online.

This will no doubt come as a relief for Sean Preston’s father Kevin Federline, who stated he wasn’t comfortable with his son stepping out into the public eye at such a tender age.

Shrestha wins ‘beauty with a purpose’ title

Miss Nepal Ishani Shrestha has made it to the final rounds of the ongoing Miss World 2013 pageant being held in Bali, Indonesia—the first time a Nepali contestant has made it this far in the competition.

Not only was Shrestha selected among the top 15 contenders in the global beauty pageant, she was also awarded the title of ‘Beauty with a purpose’ for her entry—Project Smile. The award recognises the contestant who has contributed to bringing positive changes in communities in need in her home country. Shrestha’s project was an initiative whereby she, along with a team of skilled dentists, visited various villages around Nepal to provide free dental services to about 300 locals in a four-day dental check-up camp.

Miss World 2013, the 63rd edition of the event, involves the participation of beauties from 130 countries around the world. The final round will be held on Saturday at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre.

Actor Bhuwan KC joins RPP-N

Actor Bhuwan KC has joined Kamal Thapa-led Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) after failing to secure candidacy to participate in the upcoming Constituent Assembly election from the CPN-UML. 

RPP-Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa is due to welcome KC in his party amid a programme at Dhumbarahi later today. Another actor Saileja Panday will also join the party in the programme. 

Cine-star KC had earlier joined UML on January 3, 2011. 

According to RPP-N spokesperson Raja Ram Shrestha, journalist Padam Thakuri, close to the UCPN (Maoist) is also likely to join the party.
