Nepali U-19 team Defeated by Turkmenistan in First Match

4 Oct-Kathmandu: Nepal lost by 1-2 against Turkmenistan in the AFC U-19 Football Championship in Qatar on Friday.

Nepali had opened the scoring in the 15th minute of the first half but lost the momentum in the second half and conceded two goals. Turkmenistan scored in the 58th and 79th minute of the match.

With the defeat Nepal has a difficult way ahead to qualify for the final stage of the championship involving 40 countries of Asia. RSS
