KATHMANDU: A 59-years-old Chinese national died on Tuesday after a raft capsised in the Trishuli river in Chitwan.
The victim has been identified as Yolinliu.
A group of eight foreign tourists including a Nepali guide were rafting from Charaudi of Dhading when the raft met with the accident at Mauwakhola in Darechowk-9, Chitwan.
The Himalaya River Fund Company had managed the group.
The Chinese tourist was rescued but he breathed his last while being rushed to a local polyclinic in Kurintar.
Other members of the team are safe, police said on Wednesday.
