Actor Bhuwan KC joins RPP-N

Actor Bhuwan KC has joined Kamal Thapa-led Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) after failing to secure candidacy to participate in the upcoming Constituent Assembly election from the CPN-UML. 

RPP-Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa is due to welcome KC in his party amid a programme at Dhumbarahi later today. Another actor Saileja Panday will also join the party in the programme. 

Cine-star KC had earlier joined UML on January 3, 2011. 

According to RPP-N spokesperson Raja Ram Shrestha, journalist Padam Thakuri, close to the UCPN (Maoist) is also likely to join the party.
