1 Oct-Kathmandu: The Weather Forecasting Division has said it would take four more days to have the monsoon vanished in the country, as there was still the effects of westerly wind.

Generally, the monsoon begins from June 10 and ends on September 23 in Nepal. The monsoon enters here from the Bay of Bengal.
But, for the last two years, the monsoon has begun delaying the normal time and therefore taking more time to disappear, said senior meteorologist Shiva Nepal.
Nepal witnesses 1,300 to 1,400 milliliter rainfall in average during the monsoon which provides very good climate for the paddy.
