Good news for nepali dancers. India’s most popular dance reality show Dance India Dance’s audition is taking place in Kathmandu for the first time. Reality show is aired on Zee TV. According the official website of Zee TV, the fifth audition of DID’s season 4 is taking place in Alok Vidyashram, Murari Bhawan Gaushala , Kathmandu Nepal on Septembet 29th. Perviously, the show was taking the dancers of various states of India only.
As mentioned in ZEE TV’s official website, interested candidates must fulfil the following audition requirements;
Participant shall carry valid proof of age and nationality. (Proof of Identity – Voter’s ID Card, Passport, Driving Licence, College Marksheet, School Leaving Certificate )
Two passport size photographs
The participant needs to carry an audio CD with the track number written on it on which they want to perform.
Audition timing from 8 am to 2 pm for all centers.

Entry is free & open for age group 14-30 years. (born before 15/08/1998 and after 28/02/1984).
This reality show is inspired from Kannada film, Dance Raj Dance(1987). The show is choreographed by some of the most popular Indian choreographers, such as Terence Lewis, Remo D’Souza and Geeta Kapoor. The show has won several Television Awards for Most Popular Dance Reality Show(Wikipedia).
